everyday this week I’m gonna share a memory about Foster Braun I worked with Foster for 7 years at WWCM Radio then in 1995 he followed me to WJR until I left there in 2009, a total of 35 years I’ve known Foster, I’m 51, so basically my whole life! his memorial/celebration of life service is this coming saturday (2-16) at Genesis Church in Royal Oak. todays memory features a radio interview that Both Foster and I truly felt was a God thing. we decided for the first time ever to introduce Joni Eareckson Tada and Tony Melendez on the air and to address the issue of Churches not supplyiing access for those folks battling disabilities, later on in my life I had a dear friend who was wheelchair bound and she quit coming to Church for that very reason, it was just too hard to negotiate the place. Joni is a remarkable woman who has taken on issues such as these for 50 years and Tony was new to the battle. we also discussed euthanasia, their personal stories and wrapped it all up with a song! a wonderful blessing from God. later this morning you will be able to hear the entire interview. recorded in Atlanta, Ga at CBA in 1989. tomorrow? check back in as we provide another special memory from “Working with Foster”
